From stand-up comedies to being talked about at those hotly anticipated college reunions, our life is to a greater extent a friendly exchange than some other theme about college life. We can disclose to you various stories worth tuning in to. From getting up late and moving paradise and earth to check the participation. From perpetual indoor-cricket meetings to assemble concentrates only hours before the tests, our life has consistently been an exciting ride!
YES! WE ARE ENGINEERS. THE KNOWN ALIENS!
Engineering is considered as the easiest of all the degrees, but what really the truth is, only an engineer knows. As soon as the semester starts we are bombarded with a lot of things. 6 courses, 192 lectures, 45 lab sessions, 60 assignments, 60 quizzes, vivas, presentations, projects, mid terms, finals, our semester is never easy. Only engineers realize how to function to comply with time constraints when time is short and limited, you know why? Since in their 4 years of school life they have done likewise, attempting to fulfill the time constraint for submitting assignments, finishing practicals inside when they don’t have a clue about the method beforehand and clearing tests in most recent 24 hours before the test. Engineers are the only creatures who wake up at 8:55 am and attend the lecture at 9:00 am. That’s funny but it’s true. Regardless of how well you plan your semester to get a not too bad GPA score, you need to manage numerous bouncers which eventually bring about a not really amazing final GPA score.
In our 4 years degree, our parents and relatives think that we are electrician, mechanic or computer expert and can repair all of their defective things. They think that if you are not able to repair their stuff, then you will not become a good engineer. Our real work is not to fix the toys and household stuff, but to understand the problem and design a procedure for its solution.
When I was in school, I thought that engineers are one who make robots, machines, planes and software. But the university taught us how to complete your assignment in 2 days, how to clear your exam without studying, how to copy your friends work without plagiarism, how to make projects in very limited time and many more things.
Regardless of how agonizingly intense those 4 years of engineering appear, truth is that we’ll miss this time for the rest of life! From handling life to others’ businesses, these 4 years teaches us a lot. With moments that make you smile and events that leave you in sorrow as well, this time will teaches you to take a beating and also to stand up after you stomach it away. An engineer’s life is difficult but definitely no less exciting. By molding a blank slate of a mind into someone who can handle the pressures that come in, engineering makes a young boy into a seasoned individual!
